Flow Space Policies
Flow Space is built on trust, presence, and respect—for your time, my time, and the space we share. These policies help ensure every experience feels clear, supported, and aligned from the start.
Booking and payment
All private sessions, classes, workshops, and events must be booked in advance unless otherwise noted.
Payment is due at the time of booking to reserve your spot. Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received.
Private sessions are priced per person unless otherwise stated. Two-person sessions require both participants to complete any necessary intake forms and participation agreements before attending.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule a private session, please provide at least three hours’ notice.
Sessions canceled or rescheduled with at least three hours’ notice may be moved to another available time.
Cancellations made with less than three hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, may result in forfeiture of the session payment.
For classes, workshops, and special events, cancellation and rescheduling policies may vary depending on the offering. Any specific policies will be included in the event description or booking confirmation.
Late arrivals
Please arrive on time so we can make the most of your session.
If you arrive late, your session may still end at its originally scheduled time to avoid impacting other appointments. Late arrivals do not qualify for a partial refund or extended session.
If you are running late, please reach out as soon as possible.
Workshops and special events
Workshop and event bookings reserve a limited spot and may include materials, venue costs, or other advance preparations.
Unless otherwise stated, workshop and event registrations are nonrefundable. If you cannot attend, please contact Flow Space to discuss whether transferring your spot or applying your payment toward a future offering is possible.
Availability of transfers or credits will depend on the event and cannot be guaranteed.
Cancellations by Flow Space
If a private session, class, workshop, or event is canceled by Flow Space, you will be notified as soon as possible.
You will be offered the option to reschedule, receive a credit, or receive a refund when applicable.
For outdoor offerings, weather-related updates will be communicated using the contact information provided during booking.
Virtual sessions and classes
Virtual offerings are hosted online, and access details will be provided before your scheduled session or class.
Please ensure you have a reliable internet connection, enough space to move safely, and any suggested equipment or props.
If you are attending a virtual pole session, you are responsible for ensuring your pole and surrounding practice area are appropriate for the activity.
Virtual class links are intended for the registered participant and should not be shared without permission.
Health and participation
Movement practices may include pole work, dance, floorwork, stretching, strength-based movement, breathwork, and other physical activities.
By participating, you acknowledge that physical movement carries inherent risks and agree to communicate any relevant injuries, limitations, medical conditions, or concerns before your session begins.
You are encouraged to move at your own pace, listen to your body, and stop any activity that feels painful or unsafe.
Flow Space offerings are not a substitute for medical treatment, physical therapy, psychotherapy, or other licensed healthcare services.
Consent and personal boundaries
Your comfort and autonomy matter.
Physical spotting, hands-on guidance, adjustments, and supportive touch will always be discussed with you. You may decline or withdraw consent at any time.
You are never required to participate in a movement, prompt, conversation, or activity that does not feel right for you.
Embodiment can be personal, but sharing your experiences is always your choice.
Clothing and preparation
Wear clothing that allows you to move comfortably and confidently.
Pole sessions may require exposed skin for grip, depending on the skills being explored. Please avoid applying lotion or body oils immediately before a pole session.
For heels, chair, and floorwork sessions, additional recommendations may be provided before your appointment.
If you are unsure what to wear or bring, reach out before your session.
Photography and video
Photos or videos will never be taken or shared without your consent.
If you would like to record parts of your session for personal practice, please ask beforehand so we can make sure it feels appropriate for the space and experience.
During group offerings, please respect the privacy of other participants and avoid photographing or recording anyone without their permission.
Respect for the space
Flow Space is intended to be a supportive, welcoming environment for self-expression and exploration.
Disrespectful, discriminatory, aggressive, or otherwise inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
Flow Space reserves the right to end a session or remove a participant from an offering if their behavior compromises the safety, comfort, or well-being of others.
Questions?
If you have questions about an offering, need help choosing the right session, or want to discuss an accommodation or concern before booking, please reach out.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you arrive. You just need to come as you are.
